We live in a quiet cul- de- sac a short walk from the town center of Barrow- In- Furness. Our home is a 2 bedroom ground floor flat which has large windows and lets lots of natural light in.
It has a large living/ dining room and good size kitchen with lots of storage. Our flat also has 2 double bedrooms. a walk in disabled accessible shower and 3 storage cupboards in the hallway.
We have an outdoor space at the back of our home where we currently grow our own vegetables. We have lots of on street parking available outside the front of our home and never have any issues parking.
We have good public transport with a bus stop around the corner and the train station is a 5/ 10 minute walk away. Asda is a 2 minute walk from our home and there are lots of beautiful walks locally including around the reservoir over the road (the geese like to visit our cul- de- sac where we live).
Barrow has lots of primary schools and secondary schools including a sixth form/ college which have been rated Good by OFSTED.
We are a 25/ 30 minute drive to the beautiful lake district. We are wanting to move house due to my health deteriorating and needing to be closer to wider family.
