I have a one bedroom flat in the G11 area peaked between Thornwood and Partick on Dumbarton road. My living room window faces on to the side street. So no noisy traffic, I am situated practically next to a post office, atm machine, shops, bus stop 2 minutes away, while the train station is 10 min up the street, you have Mc Donald’s, star bucks, Burger King situated around you 10 min radius coffee shops etc it’s a great flat and the neighbours are really quiet and nice. You have secure door entrance with buzzer system. It’s really a nice place to stay. I would also consider other places in the West end and also Auchinairn Road.
